The Psalmist prays or sings “Selah” 71 times.
Selah means “pause to reflect in prayer”.
Selah is the restful disposition of the Psalmist when he prays.
A mini once a month retreat, Selah is an unhurried space carved out for us to intentionally come away from the world and allow Jesus to take care of our tired and weary spirits, to rest in His loving arms as we seek His presence, love and guidance.
Through a time of guided reflection on scripture, we will sit at God’s feet and listen as God speaks into our lives while we meditate on His word.
And as we receive His word we hold onto it and ponder it in our hearts as we continue with life’s journey refreshed and yoked with Him.
Come Selah, the Lord is drawing you into a slower, quieter and less driven life by wooing you into the delights of a more intimate relationship with Himself.
